The NOVISAuto hardtop series V for the Dodge RAM 1500 offers an inexpensive solution for a RAM hardtop with a good range of services. A large number of individual options allow individual adaptation to the RAM CLASSIC according to your special wishes. Regardless of whether you are traveling for work or for leisure - with a Series V hardtop we offer a stylish and functional hardtop for your RAM 1500 and other US pickups.
With the Hardtop Series V for the Dodge RAM 1500, NOVISAuto offers one of the best options for transporting bulky loads and large pieces of luggage protected from the weather and unauthorized access.
The tinted side windows are designed as sliding windows in a black aluminum frame. The lock can only be opened from the inside. 50% sliding window means that the rear window can be fully slid open over half of the glazed area.
The tinted rear glass door is also embedded in a black aluminum frame. A hinge system over the entire width of the pane ensures a strong hold, long-lasting function and low-wear operation. The rear window can be locked with a T-handle.
A front window to the cab is always part of the standard equipment. It allows a clear view to the rear, which is why this window is also untinted. A sliding window can be booked to create a connection to the driver's cabin.
From the inside, the Series V hardtop is equipped with a smoothly sanded GfK structure, optionally with an anthracite needle felt.
The installation of the NOVISAuto Hardtop Series V is easy and convenient using the clamping system on the vehicle. The required mounting material is included in the scope of delivery. The shipment will be made to the specified delivery address. Installation is also possible with us as an option.
- Paintwork: In body color, optional with off-road protective coating in matt black
- Sidewindow: Frameless all-glass is our standard design, alternatively: sliding window with aluminum frame and protective caps, for which you can also order a dog guard
- Front window: A clear front window is fitted as standard. The top-hung window version is also available, both with and without a sliding function.
- Tailgate : In black aluminum frame with contour strip. A T-handle with lock and cylinder enables the hard top to be locked. It is then no longer possible to open the luggage compartment without a key. The model V has no possibility to connect the lock to the ZV.
- Tailgate Hinge : The tailgate hinge is firmly attached to the aluminum frame of the window. It runs the entire width of the rear window for particularly high stability. The force is distributed over the entire width of the disc: This reduces wear, ensures a long service life and also protects the shell of the hard top.
- Interior: GRP structure blank white, smooth ground
- Interior lighting: There is no interior light installed in the standard Series V for the RAM DS and RAM CLASSIC. Various options (battery operated, 12V and much more) can be booked for a small surcharge.

- Do I need a TÜV approval or a parts certificate?No, a TÜV certificate is not required, since a hardtop is considered a "cargo". No, no parts certificate is required. However, if you would like to have the parts certificate, please contact us.
- Is GRP the same as plastic?No, GRP is not the same as plastic. "Glass fiber reinforced plastic" is characterized by its resilience, easy repair and low weight and is perfectly suited for the hard top construction. Because of these good properties, GRP is also used in boat building.
- How long does it take to assemble a hardtop?It always depends on how skillful the fitter is. In general, it is not difficult to assemble a hard top, but special attention must be paid to the orientation of the hard top (straight, parallel - see the assembly instructions for more information). A good guideline is 2-2.5 hours for preparation, placement and (electrical) assembly. We always recommend a "water test" after putting it on and test fastening it to guarantee the tightness of the hardtop. The optional rear window defroster connection will cost an additional 4-5 hours of labor to route the wire harness and connect to the battery.
