How long does it take to assemble a hardtop?It always depends on how skillful the fitter is. In general, it is not difficult to assemble a hard top, but special attention must be paid to the orientation of the hard top (straight, parallel - see the assembly instructions for more information). A good guideline is 2-2.5 hours for preparation, placement and (electrical) assembly. We always recommend a "water test" after putting on and test fastening to guarantee the tightness of the hardtop. The optional connection of the rear window defroster costs an additional 4-5 hours of work to route the wiring harness and connect to the battery.
