Please note that the Carryboy Softlid CB-743 must be attached directly to the inner panel of the loading sill for installation. We recommend blind rivet nuts for this. As an alternative to shipping the tarpaulin, we also offer an on-site installation service.
* Please note: The original Mitsubishi L200 / Fiat Fullback load compartment liner with edge protection (MOPAR) requires additional, minor adjustments. For installation with a MOPAR liner, the clamped / screwed lashing eyes on the upper edge of the vehicle must be removed. The sloping edges of the loading tray at the front end of the loading area must be cut out. There is no vehicle sheet metal underneath these. Finally, the small "bulge" of the loading tray at the rear end just before the bend (in front of the tailgate) must be removed. All adjustments can be made in a short time with a milling cutter or Dremel, as well as an Allen key.

Is it possible to install it without a tub?Yes, assembly without a tray is possible. Without a trough, the cover is mounted directly on the edge of the platform.

Do I have to drill my flatbed for the installation?We recommend an edge-to-edge tub. Otherwise the sheet metal must be drilled. It should be noted here and we are convinced that you will not suffer any disadvantages by drilling into the sheet metal. The plate has a double bottom and does not come into direct contact with outside water. You are welcome to spray the drilling site with rust preventative for extra protection.
