The stable LOCKBOX car safe consists of 1.5 mm thick steel, with a securely closing lid, which is twice as thick as a beaded edge for extra stability. The unique construction includes an intricate hinge system and welded steel construction. The included Grade 8 hardware has mounting holes for either floor or flush mounting, allowing the LOCKBOX-AutoSafe to be mounted behind the back seat in a pickup truck or virtually any other location.
Locking is via the patented, burglar-proof locking system Pry-Guard with a double-bit key with 10 tumblers or alternatively with a combination lock with 10 individual adjustment knobs.
