Is GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) the same as plastic?No, GRP is not the same as plastic. "Glass fiber reinforced plastic" is characterized by its strength, ease of repair, and low weight, making it perfectly suited for hardtop construction. Because of these excellent properties, GRP is also used in boat building.

Approximately how long does it take to install a hardtop?It always depends on the installer's skill. Generally, installing a hardtop isn't difficult, but you have to pay particular attention to its alignment (straight, parallel – see the installation instructions for details). A good guideline is 2-2.5 hours for preparation, fitting, and (electrical) installation. We always recommend a "water test" after fitting and test-tightening to guarantee the hardtop's watertightness. The optional rear window defroster adds another 4-5 hours of work for routing the wiring harness and connecting it to the battery.

Is the central locking system connected to the central locking system of the pickup truck, or are these two separate systems?The hardtop central locking system is connected to the pickup truck's central locking system.
