The foam rubber is placed on the cleaned bottom edge of the upright hard top / tonneau cover  glued on, previously trimmed a little at the ends.  Then the hard top / cargo area cover is carefully aligned on the upper edge of the vehicle cargo box and fixed using the existing aluminum clamps. Für besonders große Dachzelte sowie viel Transportgut kann das XRS Rack mit einem zusätzlichen Adapter nochmals um 140cm über die Kabine oder nach hinten verlängert werden. Die Tischgarnitur für den Naturausflug kann mit Hilfe zusätzlicher Halter direkt auf der Unterseite des Racks befestigt werden und nimmt keinen wertvollen Platz weg. Auch die Markise kann bequem an der Seite des Ladeflächenträgers befestigt werden. Die Halterung hierfür ist so geformt, dass die Markiese nicht im Weg ist.Der zusätzlich erhältliche Klapptisch bietet zweierlei Vorteile. Zunächst ist dieser so gestaltet, dass ausreichend Platz zur Befestigung von schmalen Kanistern oder Werkzeug zwischen Tisch und Rack vorhanden ist. Der Klapptisch kann verschlossen werden, um das Transportgut dahinter vor Diebstahl zu schützen. Auf der Außenseite des Klapptisches ist eine Befestigungsplatte vorhanden, um weiteres Gut daran zu befestigen. Die nutzbare Fläche ist somit verdoppelt! Gleichzeitig bietet der Tisch durch seine Aluminiumoberfläche eine Arbeits-, und Stauplattform im ausgeklapptem Zustand.
